Medical Screener (C.N.A, CMA and/or PCT)

CLASSIFICATION:     Temporary position with no specific end date.  The end date is dependent on COVID-19 and continued

for this position.

HOURS:                       Monday – Friday, 8:30AM – 5:00PM

DESCRIPTION:

  • Greets patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous and helpful manner.
  • Wear all Personal Protective Equipment, PPE, at all times.
  • Use a contact free infra-red thermometer to obtain a temperature on all employees

entering the facility/site.  If an employee has a temperature of 100.4 degrees

fahrenheit or higher, contact management.

entering the facility/site.  If an individual has a temperature of 100.4 degrees

fahrenheit or higher, contact management.

  • Ensure that individuals maintain appropriate social distancing of 6 feet as

recommended by the CDC.

  • Spray the hands and forearms of all individuals planning to enter the facility with

sanitizer, if not allergic to ingredients.

  • Ask all individuals the questions on the “COVID-19 Questionnaire”. When

Completed have individual sign the questionnaire.  The signed document is to be

given to the front office personnel to be scanned into EMR.

  • Keep work area clean and neat at all times.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality while following all applicable government regulations

including HIPPA.

  • Maintain established customer service objectives, quality assurance, safety

environment and infection control policy and procedures.

*High school diploma of GED required.

*Candidate must have at least one year of medical experience.

*Must be reliable and on time.

*Excellent customer service skills.
