Summary

We are looking for a Janitor/Custodian to care for our building and carry out all cleaning details. We need someone who pays attention to detail, and the goal is to keep our building clean and in orderly condition.

Responsibilities

• Clean and supply designated building area’s (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, ceiling vents, restrooms etc.).
• Perform and document routine inspections and maintenance activities.
• Carry out heavy cleaning task and special projects.
• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
• Order required supplies.
• Stock and maintain supplies.
• Cooperate with the rest of the staff.
• Follow all health care and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Two (2) years of proven experience as a janitor.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).
• Ability to handle heavy equipment.
• Integrity and the ability to work independently.
• High school diploma or GED
