Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality images while prioritizing patient safety and comfort. You will work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic evaluations.
Responsibilities
Perform various imaging procedures including X-Ray, CT, PET scans, and sonography.
Conduct diagnostic evaluations by obtaining and interpreting medical imaging data.
Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Assist in the development of protocols for imaging procedures in accordance with best practices.
Collaborate with medical staff to provide comprehensive patient care in a Level I Trauma Center setting.
Maintain accurate records of patient information and imaging results.
Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques.
Requirements
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent.
Proficiency in diagnostic imaging techniques including X-Ray, CT, PET scan, and sonography.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and physiology.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Previous experience in a Level I Trauma Center is preferred but not required.
