LPC-Associate Job Opening
Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) to join our growing behavioral health team. Under the supervision of a Licensed Professional Counselor , the LPC-A will provide high-quality, evidence-based mental health services to clients across diverse populations.
This role is ideal for a recent graduate looking to gain hours toward full LPC licensure in a supportive, collaborative, and ethical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct individual, group, and/or family therapy sessions.
Perform initial clinical assessments and develop treatment plans.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
Collaborate with clinical supervisors, peers, and interdisciplinary team members.
Participate in weekly supervision sessions with assigned LPC-S.
Provide crisis intervention support as needed.
Adhere to all applicable federal, state, and professional guidelines.
Attend team meetings, training sessions, and continuing education activities as required.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field.
Active LPC-Associate license in the state of Texas
Supervision agreement on file with the state licensing board.
Strong clinical judgment and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional development.
Ability to work independently under supervision and manage a clinical caseload.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with [specific populations: e.g., adolescents, trauma, substance use].
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth platforms
