Role Overview

Riceland Healthcare is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our clinical team. You will be responsible for performing blood sampling and specimen collection with a primary focus on patient comfort, safety, and precision. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment while ensuring the highest quality of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures with precision and care.
  • Collect, label, and process specimens following established protocols.
  • Ensure a comfortable and professional experience for every patient.
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to strict safety/infection control standards.
  • Collaborate with clinical lab staff to ensure proper specimen handling.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in specimen collection and venipuncture.
  • Phlebotomy certification or relevant clinical training (Highly Desirable).
  • Solid knowledge of physiology and blood sampling techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal and patient-facing communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
