Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Job Opening

Position Summary:

We are seeking a driven, compassionate, and skilled Marketer/Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our Behavioral Health team. This unique dual-role position combines responsibilities in promoting the clinic’s services and building community awareness, while also providing clinical counseling to patients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mental health care and be able to engage in strategic marketing efforts while delivering high-quality therapeutic support to individuals and groups.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Responsibilities:

Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote behavioral health services to individuals, families, and referring professionals.
Build relationships with referral sources such as local healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations to drive patient referrals.
Organize community outreach programs, seminars, and informational sessions to increase visibility and engagement with the target audience.
Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, patient conversion rates, and engagement metrics to adjust strategies as needed.
Represent the clinic at community events and professional networks to build brand awareness and credibility in the local healthcare landscape.
Clinical Responsibilities (LPC):

Provide individual and group therapy for patients experiencing mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other behavioral health challenges.
Conduct assessments to evaluate patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
Use evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other approaches appropriate for patient needs.
Maintain detailed and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, medical assistants, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
Provide crisis intervention and emotional support as needed.
Offer ongoing counseling and support for patients, ensuring consistent follow-up and progress monitoring.
Qualifications:

Education:


Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
Experience:
Previous experience in a behavioral health or mental health counseling role is required.
Experience in marketing, business development, or community outreach is preferred.


Skills and Abilities:


Strong clinical counseling skills with a focus on empathetic and evidence-based care.
Proficiency in digital marketing platforms, social media, and content creation.
Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with healthcare providers, patients, and community members.
Excellent communication, writing, and public speaking skills.
Knowledge of mental health services and the ability to effectively promote them.
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.


Physical Demands:

Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods.
Occasional light lifting and transport of materials (up to 20 pounds).
Ability to work with individuals in stressful or high-pressure situations.
